And of course we are all familiar with some of the big Jewelry companies such as Cartier, Tiffany, Saks, and Jacob & Co to name just a few. Most of these large jewelry companies were no where to be found in our neighborhoods but with the advent of the internet the world has become a smaller place.

Their dream was to construct a unique specialty store that would become synonymous with fashionable, gracious living. In the summer of 2000, Saks Fifth Avenue launched saks.com offering in-store categories as well as products exclusive to the net.
JACOB & Co. could be considered the new kid on the block, but never the less it has very quickly grown in recognition and importance in the global jewelry market. Jacob & Co was founded in 1981 by Jacob Arabo in New York City. Jacob Arabo's passion for jewelry began when he was a young boy growing up in Russia.
